8th Primary school of Kallithea / Georgia Karabali / 5th challenge
As part of our 5th challenge, students learned how important it is to turn off the lights when they leave a room or when there is enough natural sunlight. This simple habit helps save energy and protect the environment. Students realized that small everyday actions can make a big difference.

Challenge 4
Students from different classes created pencil holders using toilet paper rolls, giving new life to recyclable materials. Through this creative activity, students learned the importance of reuse and recycling, while developing their imagination and teamwork skills. This action showed that small, simple materials can be transformed into useful objects while protecting the environment.

8th Primary school of Kallithea / Georgia Karabali / Cleaning Our School Yard
Students from various grades actively participated in a school yard clean-up activity, (Day 10 of the Green December Eco-Challenge) aiming to take care of their school environment and raise awareness about waste and pollution. By working together, they understood that keeping our surroundings clean is everyone’s responsibility. This hands-on activity helped students develop environmental responsibility and respect for shared spaces.

In this activity, (Day 6 of the Green December Eco-Challenge) we took care of birds by providing them with food and water. Students looked after the pigeons in the school yard, showing respect and care for animals and nature.

With great joy and impatience, students began opening the days in Green December: Two-Weeks Eco-Challenge. The first challenge was to unplug chargers or turn off devices when we don't use them.
